Store page
Also said as Capsule art, Capsule, Key art, Steam page
The page where someone decides whether to buy or wishlist. Capsule art is its small banner image, which is what most people see first, in a list among others.
Most people will only ever see the capsule, so if it does not read at thumbnail size, the rest of the page does not get a look. On Steam, as of November 2026, the small capsule is 462 by 174 pixels and the header capsule 920 by 430, sizes in force since August 2024. Pay for capsule art even if you pay for nothing else.
Say it
“Redo the capsule: one character, the title in big letters across a third of the image, and no tagline. Check it at 120 pixels wide next to ten competitors before we approve it.”
Where you’ve seen it
Balatro's capsule is a joker card and the name in big letters, and it reads even when tiny.
Not to be confused with trailer
The capsule gets the click and the trailer gets the wishlist. They do different jobs and you need them both.
